READI Joins Forces with One Identity to Extend Governance to Disconnected Applications

July 21, 2026. Most enterprise identity programs have a coverage problem they don’t talk about publicly: a meaningful share of their application estate sits outside the reach of their governance platform entirely. READI and One Identity have formed a technology alliance to close that gap, giving joint customers a path to govern the legacy, on-premises, and specialized applications that standard connectors were never built to reach.

Where governance programs lose visibility

An estimated 86 percent of enterprise applications remain disconnected from IGA platforms. Every one of them is a place where risk quietly accumulates: an account that outlived the employee who used it, an access grant no one has certified in years, a system a manager is asked to attest to without actually knowing what it does. These aren’t edge cases. For most large enterprises, they’re the majority of the estate.

Enterprise identity programs have made major investments in governance, but the last mile is where risk and inefficiency hide. Legacy systems and manual edge cases are exactly what traditional IGA tools can’t reach. Adding READI’s automation gives customers a way to close that gap without ripping out what already works.

Larry Chinski, Global Vice President of Enterprise Strategy, One Identity

How the alliance works

READI’s Smart Connector uses computer vision and plain English instructions, rather than scripting or API integration, to operate web and Win32 applications the same way a person would. Paired with One Identity’s governance suite across Identity Governance and Administration, Privileged Access Management, and Active Directory Management and Security, the alliance lets joint customers extend provisioning, deprovisioning, certification, and remediation to applications that were previously unreachable.

The practical effect: a single governed application estate, rather than a governed core surrounded by a periphery managed through spreadsheets, service desk tickets, or nothing at all. No custom connector development. No rip-and-replace of existing IGA investment.

Our mutual partners now have a formally supported joint offering, and a validated answer to the connectivity gap that has scoped down too many identity programs for too long. The consultancies and integrators already working across both ecosystems can bring this to clients with confidence.

Mike Gray, VP of Sales & Alliances, READI

Availability

The integration is available now to joint customers through both companies’ existing partner programs. READI and One Identity plan joint integration work, shared go-to-market initiatives, and co-branded resources in the months ahead.
